Meet Rod Evans
Portrait Photographer • Speaker • Founder, FUZEart. I build AI workflows that keep your subject real—so every upgrade reads as one photograph and stays sellable.
My shift into AI wasn’t a marketing move. It started after a medical wake-up call—a heart attack and a stroke during surgery that left me with significant vision loss. Most people would pull back. I leaned in. I still had bucket-list portraits to create—and I wasn’t willing to let a new limitation write the ending.
AI became a way to keep building with intention—removing friction between the idea and the finished piece. Not as a shortcut… as a tool to protect the craft while adapting to a new reality.
But I also saw the danger: images that looked amazing on-screen and collapsed in print, or visuals that felt gimmicky and lowered perceived value. So I went obsessive—testing, refining, breaking, rebuilding—until the results held up.
That became FUZE: a repeatable realism system built on non-negotiables—light, edges, depth, perspective, and anchoring shadows—so everything reads as one believable photograph.
My mission: Elevate the image. Preserve the artistry.
